Sintered gear

Now, every time we say sintered gears, we are not referring to a specific kind of gears, rather to a specific type of making things. This method uses powdered metal, which is pressed and heated until it becomes one solid piece. This approach also allows us to make complex shapes and patterns that cannot be fashioned through more traditional means.

It always begins with a selection of metal powders that are blended to achieve a desired alloy. This happens to be high-pressure-molded a CANSEN sintered gear is made using this alloy. The mole is then heated in a furnace, causing the metal powders to bond together in a process known as sintering. This makes a strong gear which afterwards is treated to create the properties we desire.


Benefits of utilizing sintered gears in various applications

Sintered gear is applied in several machines for so many different reasons. A major reason is that we can produce gears with complex shapes that are difficult to create with conventional methods. Sintered gears are also extremely strong and durable, which makes them ideal for applications that require both heavy loads and high speeds. Plus, they have a good resistance against wear ably and can operate effectively even under strenuous environments.
